Join leading heritage architect Ruth Woods as she explores the evolution of Newstead House, from its early beginnings as a Georgian cottage through to the grand residence we see today.
As Brisbane’s oldest surviving home, there have been significant changes to its scale, size and fabric since it was first built in 1846. As one of the most significant homes in Queensland’s history, the informal lecture will offer interesting insights in to early building practices.
