Canon Jones Memorial Chapel is an elegant red double-brick building featuring stained glass windows and richly groined roof. The striking timber arches resemble an upturned Viking boat, reflecting the heritage of the school’s patron saint, St Magnus. Wood carvings by Lewis Jarvis Harvey are also featured throughout.
The Centenary Library features cutting edge learning space design. The design draws on Churchie’s research into new generation learning spaces and the impact of space on teaching and learning. The new building brings a tertiary-inspired coalition of academic and pastoral services that has set new standards in educational learning spaces.
