Australian Retirement Trust welcome you into the heart of their new workplace.

Anchored by an auditorium and located in the centre of the workplace stack, the central HUB is a landscaped community space, the Heart of ART. The space blurs the boundaries of inside and out in its sub-tropical environment. Naturally ventilated through automated louvres, brick flooring and landscaped seating the central hub emerges as a park-scape in the sky.

The central HUB enables ART to open their workplace to collaborate with local organisations, non-profits, and educational institutions to host events that promote inclusivity, diversity, and sustainable practices. Through these community and industry engagement spaces, ART demonstrate their commitment to making a positive impact beyond the workplace.

First Nations engagement in the design evolution encouraged a central gathering space known as the yarning circle. It provides a space for ART and their community to engage in open, honest communication, valuing diverse voices and perspectives. The yarning circle is fringed with abundant planting and nestled under a suspended planted canopy, creating a place for intimate conversation.

In this workplace, the unique vision of ART emerges, reflecting the values of an organisation that is future focussed and committed to being a force for good.
