Queensland Theatre is thrilled to open the doors to the Bille Brown Theatre!

The Bille Brown Theatre is Brisbane’s only corner stage, a configuration designed to enhance today’s contemporary theatre experience. The 351-person seating bank is a mere 10 rows deep, ensuring audiences experience a direct connection with actors at all times during a performance.

Come and walk through the state-of-the-art theatre, and go on a tour to learn more about the process of taking a show from an idea to the stage, visiting the rehearsal rooms, workshop facility and wardrobe department.

Take time to explore the theatre’s social spaces which include the Foyer and Patron’s Deck. Sit underneath Besse the Bottle Tree (gifted all the way from Quilpie in 2002) in our lush courtyard, and enjoy a beverage from our Foyer Bar.
