You and your little ones are invited to explore the imaginative and quirky King Street in the heart of the Brisbane Showgrounds over the BOH weekend…
King Street will be buzzing with free activities for the kids including a Scavenger Hunt, Weaving Workshops and a Colouring Station. Pop down throughout the day and let the kids immerse themselves in the specially designed Kids on King program.
This colourful and vibrant neighbourhood isn’t just a feast for the eyes, but for the belly too! As one of Brisbane’s go-to dining destinations, King Street is the perfect place to sip freshly roasted coffee, pit stop at one of the many restaurants and cafes or quench your thirst at one of the local bars.
Free music will fill the streets daily from 11am – 2pm, and the King Street retailers will be open normal trading hours so while the kids explore you can have a (or multiple) pit stops to revive and refuel.
King Street is right in the heart of the Brisbane Open House action, while you’re there explore one of the many buildings open – Artisan, Guardian Early Learning, 25 King Street and don’t forget to pop over to The Tivoli… plus you know just down the road is Centenary Pool, Brookes Street Early Education and Royal Brisbane Women Hospital.
