Transport Infrastructure has had a definitive role in developing cities throughout history.

The imagery of this history is on the one hand that of the heroic engineered machine but there is also a subtler romantic past that has given us inspiring places, buildings and new experiences.

As Brisbane undertakes a major upgrade of its transport system, with projects like Cross River Rail and Brisbane Metro, what will guide these projects to repair and celebrate the city? Are we part of a Grand New Age?

The talk and discussion will visually explore these issues with presentations from a group of panelists of varying interests and conclude with an audience lead discussion.

Presented by HASSELL.
