The DKO Brisbane Studios are located within the Commonwealth Government Offices which is a heritage listed office building built during the interwar period.
It frames Anzac Square together with the Anzac Square Building, which were both designed by John Smith Murdoch.
The studio refurbishment takes full advantage of the natural light from the heritage windows, and utilises a colour palette which draws from is rich context. The new design celebrates its history, whilst imbuing an old space with contemporary design features.
