The TVS Architects studio is located in a ground floor tenancy originally designed for use as a cafe. The light and breezy space has a great Brisbane vibe with almost half the space being semi-outdoors with timber decking, louvres and screens. A large sloping column supporting the residential tower above makes a striking element in the high-ceilinged deck space. The main studio workspace is accessed through large bi-folding doors and has high ceilings with exposed services and a sunken floor level in part. This is where TVS Architects work to create their projects. The studio is part of a larger residential development comprising of two mid-rise towers supported on 15m high angled columns over a central common area (not part of the Brisbane Open House program).
