Fish Lane Arts Precinct

In partnership with Aria Property Group, we are excited to introduce the Brisbane Open House 2022 Iconic Precinct – The Fish Lane Arts Precinct.

From 27-28 August 2022, the Fish Lane Arts Precinct will offer the chance to explore, re-examine and engage with the laneway’s unique architecture and design.

What began as a food cooperative operating from a small shipping container in a vacant car park in South Brisbane, has since turned into a vibrant, magical urban space created by architects Richards & Spence. The Fish Lane Precinct is bustling with bars, restaurants, cafes, art, galleries, music, and events; but at its heart claims a genuine sense of community that cannot be seen, only felt.

What’s on over the weekend in the Iconic Precinct?

Guided & self-guided tours

During Brisbane Open House, visitors to the Iconic Precinct and BOH venues will be invited to explore the connection between people and carefully curated and designed spaces. Through guided and self-guided tours, you will gain insight into the world of design, architecture and urban spaces.

There will be tours of Fish Lane conducted on both Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August.
You can join these tours by registering at the Fish Lane Town Square– first in, first served per tour.
Sunday tours will be held at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm.

Booked tours of The Standard

As the supporter of this year’s Iconic Precinct, Aria Property Group will be hosting booked tours of their landmark property, The Standard – a sculptural landmark development that has redefined apartment living. Bookings will be released closer to the weekend. Make sure you are subscribed to our email to ensure you are the first to know.

Town Square BOH Info Hub

A BOH Info Hub will be located in Town Square. Pop in, grab a program and say hi!

Getting there

To complement the 2022 BOH program, Omnibus will provide a free transport service between key event locations in their vintage buses.
