Each year, visitors are invited to capture the city’s most remarkable architectural places and spaces by entering the Brisbane Open House Photography Competition.

Prizes are awarded across four categories, with an Overall Winner selected from entries across all categories.

Building — Exterior
Celebrate architectural form through striking images of a building’s façade, shape, and scale.

Focus on light, materials, spatial design, and atmosphere inside a space.
Building — Detail
Highlight craftsmanship, ornamentation, or clever architectural elements.=
The 2026 Brisbane Open House Photography Competition is proudly supported by BlueScope.
The Photography Competition opens for entries at 9am, Saturday 18 July and close at 5pm, Friday 31 July. Winners will be announced by the end of August 2026.
