Brisbane Open House Volunteers
Brisbane Open House 2026 will take place on 18 & 19 July 2026.
Volunteers are the heart – and the friendly faces – of Brisbane Open House. By helping provide access to buildings and experiences across the city, our volunteers spark curiosity, celebrate Brisbane’s heritage and stories, and help uncover exciting new projects and ideas along the way.

Brisbane Open House simply wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers. Whether welcoming visitors, guiding tours, answering questions, or helping with directions, our volunteers ensure everyone enjoys a smooth, engaging, and inspiring experience.

Terms and Conditions
By volunteering with Brisbane Open House, you acknowledge that this role is undertaken voluntarily and without financial compensation.
All volunteers are required to be 18+ years of age and able to safely fulfil the function of volunteering at the buildings and shifts selected. Volunteering may require standing and or walking (including climbing stairs), managing queues and liaising with our visitors.
Volunteers must conduct themselves in a professional and friendly manner and comply with reasonable instruction from BOH organisers and building managers at their chosen volunteer spot.
