Brisbane Open House will return in 2022 with a strong and safe public program celebrating Brisbane’s architecture, engineering and history.

Due to ongoing uncertainty regarding Covid-19, Brisbane Open House will not go ahead with its planned annual event and will focus on delivering next year’s free weekend of open buildings, behind-the-scenes access and guided tours.

From the Chair of the Board

Brisbane Open House has a duty of care to protect its venue managers, volunteers and visitors, and while many Brisbane buildings and places are now operating with restricted access, the Brisbane Open House Board has decided to postpone the 2021 Brisbane Open House weekend.

We are directing the organisation’s attention and resources towards curating and delivering a full public program in 2022.

I’d like to thank our generous and loyal sponsors and partners who have enabled Brisbane Open House to deliver a free, large-scale event for the city since 2010 and who we are confident will join us in 2022 and beyond.
