Brisbane Open House 2025 is almost here, and with 90 buildings and events across the city, we know it can be hard to choose where to start. So we’ve rounded up a few buildings, tours, and moments that you won’t want to miss.
Whether you’re keen on history, architecture, music, or behind-the-scenes peeks, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a handy guide to some of the highlights across the weekend!

Albert Street Uniting Church
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Guided and self‑guided tours showcasing its neo-Gothic heritage and peaceful gardens. -
Ann Street Presbyterian Church
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Self‑guided access with historical insights and light refreshments. -
Archerfield Airport
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Guided visits to hangars and aviation displays; check platform for tour start locations. -
Arup Office
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Guided tours exploring regenerative workplace design. -
Bates Smart Studio
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Two expert talks at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, plus self‑guided studio viewing. -
BVN – The Annex
Tours start at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, and 1:00, each lasting ~45 minutes. No booking required. -
Cox Architecture – Old Mineral House
Tours at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM include a talk followed by a walking tour over Kangaroo Point Green Bridge. -
MacArthur Museum
10:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Self‑guided exploration of Brisbane’s WWII heritage. -
Milton House
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Take a self‑guided tour of this heritage house that is not often open to the public. -
Museum of Nursing History
10:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Self‑guided tours will show the history of nursing heritage in Brisbane! -
Our Lady of Victories, Bowen Hills
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Guided tours of interwar Gothic church architecture. -
Populous Studio at Collin House
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Guided studio tours; photography not permitted. - QAGOMA
GOMA will host two films in Cinema B: Office Baroque at 1.30pm and Columbus at 3pm. Both screenings are free and will be preceded with an introduction by QAGOMA Film Curator Victoria Wareham. -
Raymont Residential College
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Self‑guided exploration of student housing history. -
St Augustine’s Anglican Church
10:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Tour this beautiful church and enjoy the Brisbane Municipal Concert Band at 3:00pm. -
Thomas Dixon Centre
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Enjoy music and tours throughout the day at this incredible venue. -
